MStreamIT needs to adopt a professional approach when communicating electronically with its customers. All customer enquiries must receive a response within 24 hours, even if the person who has been emailed is not at work that day.

  1. Adam would like you to set up your email system using tools and features of email software to help portray a professional and efficient company image
  2. Produce an information document which explains to all employees the importance of email etiquette and the tools and features of email software they will need to use

Starter (5 mins)


Explain to a friend WHY you think Adam has insisted on all emails being replied to in 24 hours.


Task ( 40 mins)

Add a set of instructions explaining that Adam has set a company policy that all emails must be replied to within 24 hours. Explain to your colleagues (with screenshots) how they set up an email auto reply for when they are out of the office.
